MS Crate Late Racing Series
The MS Crate Late Model Racing Series (MSCLRS) was founded by Ronnie Rodgers with one goal in mind — to revive and strengthen 604 Crate Late Model racing across Mississippi. Built on a passion for grassroots motorsports and a commitment to competitive, affordable racing, the series provides a professional platform for racers, teams, and fans to celebrate dirt track competition at its best.
Under the direction of Series Founder Ronnie Rodgers and Promoter Charles Thrash, the MSCLRS has quickly become one of Mississippi’s most exciting regional racing programs. Each event offers thrilling 30-lap feature races paying $2,000 to win and $200 to start, drawing talented drivers and dedicated teams from across the Mid-South.
The 2025 season marked a year of impressive growth and success, featuring an average of 19 registered teams per event and a highly competitive $5,000 Points Championship Chase that kept fans and drivers engaged all season long.
In 2025, the MSCLRS also teamed up with the Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Late Model Series to sanction events for a $10,000 National Points Chase, giving Mississippi drivers the opportunity to compete on a national stage while earning valuable points across both programs.
That same year, Magnolia Motorsports Marketing joined the MSCLRS full-time to lead marketing, media relations, and promotional development, helping expand the series’ presence, fan engagement, and sponsorship reach throughout the region.
Driven by a shared passion for racing and community, the MS Crate Late Model Racing Series continues to build on its mission to provide exciting, professional, and family-friendly racing entertainment across Mississippi.
